The Spanish Committee for Mathematics coordinates activities of international scope in Spain related to the International Mathematical Union (IMU). It also channels IMU initiatives within Spain and advises the Ministry of Education and Science of Spain on IMU recommendations concerned with education and research in Mathematics.
